Paul,

It all looks pretty but why isn't the stock going up ?

quote.yahoo.com

A simple extrapolation of this graph puts the price over $100 by the first day of summer.

Paul - RE: "It all looks pretty but why isn't the stock going up ? :("

If you compare AMD to the rest of the market, AMD is doing very well right now. Yesterday, AMD hit an all time high. The Naz is still well off its high. The market is slowly figuring out AMD is for real right now. The average analyst estimate for earnings this year is $5.07. If you build it, they will come. AMD has built it.

Of course, there are those who think the door will be shut on AMD in the second half...

If you are in for the short term, good luck. I make no predictions.

Go back to the date you purchased AMD and tell me another stock that you could have purchased on that day and seen the gain you now have.

Just hold tight. I hope you don't really have to sell it before you need college tuition. You could miss a nice run-up. OTOH, one screw up by AMD which no one seems to discuss the possibility of would destroy this stock.
