We have detractors who seem to enjoy pointing out that this tremendous B to B company is not going to recover any time in the near future but they are so mistaken, imo. Parametric is simply evolving from a company that is going from an old product(CAD) that has much competition into their evolved Windchill application that is said to be the best manufacturing program around.

Santiago, people like JG and me are not detractors who are enjoying pointing out problems. To say so is to misrepresent us altogether.

There is no question that PMTC is evolving and that Windchill is a good product line in a very attractive market. However, the company's management has not been managing this transition well and has some very hard work ahead of it over the next couple of quarters to recoup. To think otherwise is to ignore reality.

Hi Santiago,
Happy Easter. Parametric has clients among major automakers and airplane makers worldwide, and hi techs like Lucent etc
I agree on Windchill but I am concerned by a recent Goldman Sachs report which was very cautious.
Will post the report for everybody to read it. I like very much the insightful analyst Laura Conigliaro.
On the other end, the excellent Desai for First Boston just put out a buy rating with a $ 19 target.
Merrill Lynch is descriptive but does not take one side or another.
It is very concerning the Windchill shortcoming on revenues. It appears to be related to poor management and upheaval in the sales force.
I feel right now the stock is risky, I bought at 10. Have not yet come to a decision.
good luck,
Alfredo
