Instinet, MarketXT, Island, and soon Archipelago (all ECN's) offer extended hours trading; Instinet permits listed trading currently, and the remaining three are adding listed trading in small increments. So, there may be a few listed issues that can be traded after hours on the aforementioned systems. In addition, the Chicago Stock Exchange, which trades many NYSE issues (as a regional exchange) has a late trading session that ends at 4:30 or 5:00.
