Assuming your quotes are exact (since I don't read his biased commentary anymore, except 2d hand), his statements are so spurious as to not warrant a moment of your time. Of course he is biased. Clear from the outset. The veneer is non existent.

Let him rail. Who in their right mind would heed anything he says?

Whatever Dan. Anybody with half a brain can simply read the SEC filings and news releases for themselves and see what is going on. The press releases claim efficacy and were issued by GUMM, not Dr. Hirt. Of course, Dr. Hirt is the one giving GUMM these numbers. After all, he was the one GUMM hired to do the studies. Either way, it doesn't mean SQUAT without a publication and I've been hearing the claim that "the publications are forthcoming" from you for six months now. How long to do you think people will buy this crap? It doesn't take that long to get a completed study into print and every time they complete one study it's - "Wait a while longer while we do yet ANOTHER study" -ie "We haven't run out of press releases yet!". Give me a break. If they were going to publish anything, they'd have done that by now.

As for the FDA, it doesn't make a damn bit of difference what the active ingredient is. The FDA requires companies to do clinical studies on any remedy or drug that makes specific claims of efficacy. It's consumer protection to prevent manufacturers from making unsubstantiated claims about their products, plain and simple. Don't believe me? Go to the FDA home page and find the number to your nearest Consumer Complaint Coordinater, call them up and ask them. I find it disgusting that the FDA wouldn't review the clinical trials on Zicam to verify that the numbers GUMM is throwing around are valid. Sure, GUMM won't volunteer this info. Without scrutiny, they can get away with anything they want to and have.

As for the press releases in fall, only a complete moron or a paid shill (gee I wonder who that could be?) would be daft enough to have anyone believe that those press releases weren't misleading. In fact, I believe they coincided with your ridiculous predictions that this stock would never see the single digits and would hit $60-$100 by the end of 2000. They led people to believe that Zicam was a slam dunk. Now they're admitting it wasn't and are making all kinds of excuses why.

You must really have a low opinion of the average investor's intelligence. On the other hand, considering the people that seem to invest in stocks like GUMM, I venture to guess that none of them are Rhode Scholars.

What's REALLY disgusting is how you've hyped this POS all the way into the gutter and now seek to take advantage of a fresh crew of suckers that seem ready to take the bait.
