I couldn't even begin to answer your question. Considering that John 11:17 refers to how long Lazarus had been "dead", and the Revelations passage to the "measurement" of the temple.......I'd say they are two totally distinct passages. But I'm not a Bible scholar.

As for charity, my feeling is that is something that is personal and we should engage in as we see fit. I don't believe in forcing charity, compelling charity, or coercing it. If you humiliate someone into a charitable act, then it isn't really charity on their part, is it?

And just to be sure that we are on the same page, here is what I was comparing it to: Revelation 11:1 "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein."
