I am not familiar with Ancor and McData issues. Can you elaborate on the significance of this. TIA

Bob, what you describe sounds like potential big breaking news for Ancor and Brocade, but for EMC? Ancor and Brocade are fast growing up and coming companies, but EMC is a gorilla, or at least a king. So what's the big deal about the king sourcing (reselling), or supporting fibre channel switches from the relatively new kids on the block? This is not to downplay those companies at all, but it looks more like business as usual for EMC to be opening up to the more successful connectivity vendors, not the biggest product announcement in EMC's history.

I also realize you're stating this is highly speculative, being based partially on other SI thread discussion.

Thanks for the opinion, and, again, don't mean to throw cold water on anything.
