Poet, I received an e-mail back from TV Guide Investor Relations Director. He confirmed that it is the quarter ending June 30th. I sent him the article that Frank posted, which stated the quarter ending Sept 30th. ( TVG IR stated that he can understand the confusion, but it is June 30th )

Again he stated:
" The end of the second quarter has been the target date ever since the deal was announced last October, and we are still on track to accomplish this. "

There's never been a firm date, since it's not under gmst/tvgia's control. The initial indication was April, but the federal beaurocrats have been taking their sweet time. Both companies seem anxious to complete the merger. If it doesn't get approved, your August 60 calls will be toast. That's why I'm sticking to common stock on this one.
