Thanks for the warm words. I accept full responsibility for paying any attention to the musings of Mr. Gilder. The point was something different--does Mr. Gilder accept responsibility for his recommendations, and understand their significance, Whatever you guys say, the fact is that he has a business in which he gets paid to make these recommendations with the expectation that people would rely--at least in part--on them. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to sell his GTR. Given that he holds himself out as someone who should be relied upon, does he care that people do so and get burned? As for me, I am in fact responsible for my decision to pay any attention to him, and, if so, the appropriate degree..
