I think there are more issues that the conservatives find it in their interest to keep the government out of than that liberals do.

I will stipulate that.

But when a conservative finds it feathers his or her nest (ideological or religious or economic) to urge government intrusion on the private lives of the citizenry, the conservative, like the liberal, will stop at no barrier, including, in the case of the conservative, the door of that bedroom I mentioned, in reaching the prospective intrudee [to coin a word] to enforce, in this case, zygote incubation and eventual parenthood.

To give a liberal case, liberal ideology deems it acceptable to use government authority to prevent a school administration, backed by a majority of parents, from instituting a regular search of children's school lockers for weapons and drugs in a school in which the children have been at risk from these items. I myself think that is insane, just as I think it insane of the liberal to oppose government intrusion into private lives in the case of the notification by prison medical personnel of the spouses of released AIDS victims that they may be in grave danger.

I believe that most conservatives, on the other hand, would advocate, with me, that the government, in the person of the prison doctor or administrator, intrude into that prisoner's private life by notifying the spouse of the threat to his or her life and the life of any child conceived by unprotected sex.

conservatives have an equal desire to intrude in our lives
Perhaps E will contribute his elegant style to:

- Public prayers, in school, before games, before the senate, at graduation, before banquets, around the flagpole, at Amway meetings, and just about everywhere else.

- Same sex attractions, same sex marriages, sex on TV, sex on the internet, strip clubs, public libraries, and other manefestations of the conservatives next favorite topic.

There are many topics where the conservatives want to legislate beliefs.
