great article on strength of w-cdma my assumption is that if we add up japan and europe we will see the standard since they both are well into the lead in infrastructure build out, usage, and tech. europe has the population as well as the dominant manufacturers of handsets and infrastructure. plus i can't forget that symbian is a combination of: NOK, ERICY, MOT, AND HIT. if they as a group make a decision, it could be law. the world will follow japan and europe this time. curtis
