Someone asked if the 25% growth figure could be extended into Q3 and 4 and Mike said they were not giving guidance that far ahead. He added that Q2 will be strong based on acquisitions kicking in, along with growth in other areas. I like Mike's conservative approach.

I don't know how the analyst got cut off, but it was not on SDL's side as they kept asking if he was still there. I expected him to sign back on but he never did. Don gave a clue to demand further out when he said bandwidth growth appeared to be accelerating. He also remarked on the growth in metro/access and the fact they would be using WDM and even DWDM. Glancing at my notes, I notice the analyst asking the question about Lucent's component crunch was referring to fiber capacity when he said they would be able to meet demand. Don later mentioned there had been some limits on "fibers that were tight."

You might want to call the company and get clarification.
