The RDRAM and DDR commentary is probably from someone who has experience in the memory field, but not on the Rambus side: Paul is an electrical engineer who been designing chips along with computing, DSP, communications, video, and mixed signal hardware for the last fifteen years in the Ottawa area. His achievements include the SCV64 VMEbus interface chip and the command and control pipelines and clock hierarchy in the 72 Mbit SLDRAM reference design.
