Just on CNBC: Eugene Peroni of Nuveen Funds just said he would not buy JDSU now as it will be under pressure, and to use any strength to exit.

He would ENTER GLW, one of his top picks.

David Trodtman, your explanation on low volume accepted as
part of the reason. I see however sharp spikes of seeling followed
by very low spikes. That tells me that intraday
there maybe other reasons.
One reason is that this is the short term bottom of the

Lower volume correlates with Jewish hol, Christian hol, and just plain 4 days off for others. (Note, I am not saying that your point about a short-term bottom is incorrect. I am simply pointing out another significant factor to consider.)
