Here's another poster child - Symantec (SYMC). Steady EPS, sales, and cashflow growth; free cashflow out the wazoo. Yet a p/e in the low 20's; remarkable for a software company. Reported yesterday, and for the umpteenth quarter in a row, SYMC gave a stunning upside surprise. Now, I thought that the six analysts covering SYMC (all with Strong Buys) might reiterate their ratings, and perhaps even revise their obviously too low eps estimates for the future.

Not a bit of it! Banc of America downgrades SYMC -- on "valuation concerns." Too expensive??!!! Not any more -- the price has gone down by 13% already today. Some reward for yet another outstanding quarter!
