My take was slightly different than Tero's and yours, particularly in light of Yusai Okuyama's comments today that DDI Corp. "has still not decided which technology it plans to adopt for third-generation (3G) cellphone services".

I think the "game" is still on, and the comments are part of the "game". It is getting to be compromise & concession time and at least part of the hardball is taking place in OHG, IMO.

This despite what seems on the surface to be a particularly telling comment by IDO President Nakagawa, "The choice of the standard is so important that it may determine the success of the new (DDI) company ... We don't want to be a minority in the market"

There is more to this "game" than what we are privy to and it ain't over yet (again, IMO).
