John, Thanks for contributing to our board here. I think that those holding for the long-term will continue to be rewarded.

Yesterday's earnings were "stellar" and the Lexar litigation is still misunderstood. Perhaps there are many on the sidelines waiting for Lexar to sign a licensing agreement before stepping up to buy SanDisk. As an individual investor with an investment horizon in the order of several years I feel comfortable betting on a SanDisk win and will look for a windfall of CF assembly revenues to kick in just as worldwide CF sales increase at an exponential pace. There may be opportunities to buy along the way, however I feel the risk reward ratio at today's prices are worth it. I mean, you could do a lot worse or you can play it safe and buy blue chips. At my age I will put my money behind Eli and SanDisk and take the lumps as they come.

Lexar Media will be forced to negotiate if they ever wish to launch an IPO. Two million dollars from Sony is chicken-feed. Sony spends at least that much in one year on toilet paper for the executive lavatory.

This following post justifies my current motivations for accumulating SNDK at these prices. Please draw your own conclusions...
