Scumbria, I'm a surface-level-technical-details-only kind of guy, and this is probably a stupid question, but aren't the banks configurable in RDRAM (I seem to remember some discussion at one time where the vendors could determine how many banks they wanted on the RDRAM chip)? I realize it's not something you can do on the fly -- it would have to be changed on the silicon -- but could a single channel RIMM with a different bank configuration improve performance? Again, forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question. Dave
