Steve and Thread,

Steve, Thanks for your insight.

Let's face it. Lexar Media is on the ropes and they are receiving damaging body punches. The referee is about to stop the fight. Why does Lexar management refuse to throw in the towel? NEGOTIATE, DAMN IT! Without a settlement the Lexar IPO cannot go forward in good conscience. Lexar Media is damaged goods without a working agreement with SanDisk. And SanDisk has been sitting alone at the bargaining table tapping a #2 pencil on a yellow legal pad for about 2 years now. They are going to have to blow the dust off the negotiating team before long.

OT: Concensus estimates for 2000 are 80 cents. Estimates for 2001 are $1.15

I anticipate earnings revisions for 2000 by the analysts will follow. If Dan Niles' projections were exceeded (somebody posted on Yahoo that his Q1 EPS estimate was 18 cents) he is likely getting customers on board. Expect an announcement soon if Mr. Niles liked the earnings accomplishments and the c.c.

Cardin, where are you when we need you?

$93 5/8 --- gimme a break here
