I guess I answered this question, but I'll answer it again. No, I believe that conservatives support fewer issues that involve government intrusion into private lives, but when they get a chance to advance what they see their interest by intruding government into private lives, they will do it without hesitation, and with a vengeance. Like liberals, they'll use the government to gore whatever ox they want gored, in other words. They do hate the government to gore theirs, of course. Like liberals.
