cnbc, yesterday on squawk box Mario Gabelli who is just about as smart as Warren Buffett stated, stated " inflation is going to suprize on the upside in the near future".With todays U.I. index numbers showing full employment will create a surge in inflation it is my belief, all conditions are in place for a bull market in gold. I also think that years from now many including central bankers will live to regret selling gold at such low prices and in the end heads will roll.

as you have heard before, patience...PDG made a higher low today and lower high off expansion day on 4/14..Call it compression..I am looking for 9 1/4 or higher on it before next Friday close...NEM should make an attack on 26 by next Friday...Higher high and higher low on NEM, we are close...Steep ascending triangle...XAU higher high, higher low..A directional indicator crossover today of the +D1 and -D1...Ultimate oscillator on Kinross showing bullish divergence with price..Looks like a safe buy in 1.18-1.37 area..AEM good buy at 5 11/16, no higher..When we get the first run within next 14 days, look for high on Kinross of 1.75, don't see it going much higher....

Regards, Mark

Hi, Bob.
Just came from your goldsheet.simplenet.com and I guess I need a refresher course in how to look up historical information on the Amax sale to Kinross.

Or is there a new "Amax" gold out there prospecting and poking around for properties?

Do you recall any of the specifics of the merger or acquisition of Amax by Kinross?

Is there an "amEx" gold, also?

Thanks. One of your customary prompt replies would be deeply appreciated. Thanks, Bob!
