"the admonition to him, to buy "The Gorilla Game" (10th time I've told him that)."

And then check this thread out. Man, it has pushed my education way beyond the book itself. It also acts as a guiding and self-correcting. The Mike, the uncle and all of the other elders are ever vigilant against in-appropriate thinking and gentle prod the errata person back on track.

Of course cuf on the other thread just clobbers you. All for your own good of course.

Eric,

Now I think he is about ready to buy it, but I'll have to tell him 10 more times to read it.

And you'll have to tell him 100 times to join us in the thread. People think the amazing returns we get here should be available to people who don't do their homework. They have no idea the amount of time we spend hashing and rehashing the concepts until they become indellibly imbedded in the brain.

Sometimes investing is like anything else that's beyond the realm of a couch potato --- you get out of it what you put into it.
