RED-FACED MARGIN EXEC OFF TO ISRAEL
nypostonline.com

Online trading exec Barry Hertz has left the country for Israel and dumped huge amounts of his sinking stock on the market.

Hertz, 50, spent more than $10 million a year starring in his own TV commercials to hype day-trading through his online stock-trading company, Track Data Corp.

Hertz's popular one-liner from his TV spots was: "You don't have to be a pro to trade like one."

But he wound up as a laughing stock of Wall Street yesterday for getting caught up in his own propaganda - and suffered $48 MILLION IN MARGIN CALLS on his risky strategy of stock trading.
