We disagree but I think we are closer than you think.

Currently trading options, stocks and futures based on a model that I have been designing. Long portfolio consisists of value plays like GT, MAT, FTN (although that may go) etc. Berkshire (WB is the man). JNJ might buy some BMY. Tech plays in WCOM, JDSU short and long trading, CSCO short and long trading. PMCS long trading. Other various favorites (but JDSU is the best trading stock) Playing the NAS through QQQ based on my model (which is almost ready to give a short term buy signal). Also playing the short side of everything that looks like it's going to take fall. Was short and long QQQ this week, just depends.

I was a buy and holder for many years. CSCO made me a small fortune. Switiching to technical/fundamental trading and futures. Have had a fantastic year.

May buy some ABX if bearish sentiment continues for gold.

But mostly cash.
