What is going on? I go over to the Intel thread to lurk and half the AMD posters are over there. In fact there are so many AMD posters, the ratio is 4 AMD posts for every Intel post.

Ted,

I think we may have entered some sort of parallel universe....similar to the Star Trek episode where Spock has a goatee......wait a minute.....didn't Jerry recently grow a goa....

>> the Intel longs desperately are trying to figure out how the AMD scum got such a foothold.<<

I think most of us Intel longs have it figured out that Intel has made some bad mistakes in the last year, and that AMD has taken advantage of them and their own good work to become a real competitor.
An observation, though: I have never seen such a large group of supremely and arrogantly confident people such as there are on this thread feeling the need to constantly bash and make fun of the opposition. Sorry guys, but mature, confident people don't have the need or desire to do this. Looks a lot like whistling through the graveyard.
And please don't tell me that Intelabees have done the same thing in the past. Assuming that to be true, it didn't look any better when they were doing it.
