George, the market has got to fool a lot of people to keep em in the game, even as it is making a top, this $ thing may be one of the tricks. witness the II bullish advisor report for the year 2000, consistently at around 52-55% bulls and 27-29% bears, all during a period which the dow lost 2000 points in a couple of months and the nasdaq lost 34% of it's value in a little over a month (of course at different times to keep em fooled -g-) but still the money managers are way to bullish in the face of these declines, these little panics are putting in short term bottoms, but i think the II survey will need to get much more negative before we hit bottom. b
