Jozef - RE: "What is AMD's and Intel's roadmap, as far as process technologies?"

Did you download the slides from AMD's analyst conference in November of last year? There is a chart that gives an estimate of the split AMD expects its overall production to be between (.25/.18/a bit of .13 (or .15?)). If you didn't get it, I'll can email the power point presentation to you.

Dear Jozef:

Although it is impossible to run 0.18 micron wafer thru 0.25 micron wafer processing equipment, you can easily run 0.25 micron CPU's on 0.18 micron wafer processing equipment. Austin may have all equipment at 0.18 micron but still use the 0.25 micron K6-2 Masks. Also, if some 0.25 K6-2 wafers were started end of 1999 they could just be finished being shipped at start of Q2. All K6-2's may be produced at 0.18 straight shrink from start of Q1 and are just showing up now.
