<<Arabs were selling cheap oil in exchange for manipulated cheap gold.>>

Alan,

You are very correct in your recollection
of the oil and gold price dance that occured
back then between those persons who were the
powers that be of the USA and other nations.

Remember not so long ago the person Taurus553
that left this Yellow Brick Road and went off
to see The Wizard, and upon so, received the wisdom
to go and search ends of rainbows for those tech bubbles ?

Well, not there, but here, before he or she left
the following observation by such person was left,
as follows.

"The thread [Gold Price Monitor] has a major flaw though.

The subject matter is too often seen and addressed through
the eyes and conviction of a relatively centered group of.....

... often lead to conflicts between addressing gold's role
in the world, and the politics that may influence them."

Now I'am sure Taurus553 will not agree with my group of myself's
<<eyes and conviction>>, but to me gold is but about one single
stand alone self contained war between Good and Evil, and this
which you mentioned, the oil price and gold price and payments
for such oil, was a major battle in the never ending war between
that good and evil, and evil won this very important battle that
still has a cold grip on the price of gold.

That was a good year for Evil.

Actually it was also a turning point,
as that saying
"Heaven and Hell"
was modified and became
"Heaven and Hell Inc."
as the economics of the gold market
some say is supply & demand
but no and yes
as no, in no free gold market
but yes, in the supply of souls For Sale
big supply, especially those high up and powerful in USA government
and demand, well unlimited as Hell Inc. is much larger than prior Hell
and now that the Devil is both CEO and Chairman
and must report each year's bottom line
the Devil now wheels and deals like you would not believe
as now its caution to the wind.

Till Gold can trade freely again.
(1)
Hell Inc. will exceed not only what the market expected
but even the "whispered" numbers.
(2)
Taurus553 will not walk the Yellow Brick Road.
(3)
We need more friends like Friend of Another.
Doug
