I hope it will be confined to MSFT because the big technology sell off was triggered in part, IMO, by Judge Jackson's ruling.

One of the possibilities is that the money coming out of MSFT will be huge and going into other technology stocks like IBM, SUNW, ORCL as well as others. I am really pessimistic about the sympathy effect initially though bringing the whole tech community down.

"Interesting" as in the Chinese curse. After hearing MSFT's results I planned a hasty trip back east specifically to be in the air during most of the market hours on Monday. If JFK airport looks like something out of Stephen King's "The Langoliers" when we touch down I'll draw the appropriate conclusions.
