Eric and Derick, Thanks for the well wishes... I am real real Happy about it...Got another confirmation distribution contract is coming in a week.. Derick I use a VS-880 X-panded, drum machine, bass and guitars in my "living room"(Bachelor obviously!lol!). I really like having a completely seperate unit commited to the job including its own burner etc.. It helps to limit the control of your gear over your creative process...this is jmo. The last thing I want is a software problem or whatever.... I do realize it depends what you want of course I think you have about 36 tracks right? Meanwhile I have 8 with 8 virtual each but it's digital so I work around that. I go back to the old analog Porta-05 days so either way I like the unit.. The X-panded is a hard manual to get thru but the machine is so user freindly and dummy proof...I was amazed.. Tons of effects come with the x-panded built in but not the original 880 has to be x-panded and have a scuzy and built in hard drive as well....Not all do so you have to be sure when pricing/purchasing All my original tracks are totaly clean, totaly...this is really cool for getting the sound you want..The reason being that you don't always know what you need until the tracks are done..IMO Regards, FP
