I seldom have problems with Mytack. I just use it for Nas lev II and scans.. I'm in Canada and I tried to get a trading account too, but Hert took over as clearing by then, and I guess they don't like Canadians (That's why I will be leading the Attack on the U.S.A. in the next war, we're thinking 2012 to mark the bicentenial of the war of 1812...will kick butt again) The last time it shut down on me was...I'd have to check back, but I did talk to Wayne in a PM on Stock pit at the time, maybe he remembers... Now...not knowing how you have that there P# set up, may I offer some suggestions? Skylam offers a nifty utility free for tweaking win 98 to spead up your internet connection.. you run it once...let me just run and get the url... Ok I'm back...(fast, eh) skylam.com That speeds up your connection... you might also check to see that you have the newest java software...2.1 I think. I'm also running a dedicated 16 meg video card for my trading software. win 98 allows two monitors... You might check in your video card profile to see if you have the performace set at full.. if you do, try putting it to the lowest setting... I am running a P3 550 mhz, with 64 megs and a 16 meg vid I find that the performance setting is the culprit for a lot of software problems... It seems that it you put it to the highest setting, some software just can't keep up.
