KayCee: Windows 98. TRAC apparently phoned Microsoft on my behalf just to get help, and it was Microsoft who advised them how to fart around with the memory configurations (believe me, I will never do that again). I slowly watched my computer become less and less operable. I was scared as he--. It got to the point where it wouldn't even finish booting up. A pretty green screen is nice, but when it is the only screen you get, it isn't funny. Sweated bullets. It was actually my local computer support centre that helped me through it in safe mode. I might be presumptuous, but I really can't see that I am the only one in the world fortunate enough to be experiencing difficulty on shutdown after using TRAC...
