regreen-eyed monster...jealousy A few years ago there was a fine book published called "Resentment against Achievement". The author warned that there is a strong resentment against success and successful companies and people growing in the U.S. (and the world) along with the growing welfare state, which helps foster such attitudes. I submit that this "resentment against achievement" has grown since the book was written and now is institutionalized: i.e.publicly supported lawsuits against successful companies to extract money from them.
