no doubt some great ladies there. i'd have to say that seeing janis joplin live blew me away more than any other female singer. her voice was so powerful it could never be captured on a recording like it was live. unbelieveable! she

Sara M is my fav artist..Her songs are so deep and emotional.
I saw her in concert and it was so cool.

p.s. Saw 10K Maniacs at a small bar in Michigan in 1986. There were maybe 40-50 people there. I stood by the stage and melted under Natalie's spell.
