I agree that somebody should contact the editor of PC World. So, I sent PC World an e-mail and I hope you all will do the same.

However, I think we should take every opportunity on the SNDK thread to point out the weaknesses of the alternatives. Anyway, as new people join the thread, they will need to be educated.

Perhaps you should start a thread called the Why Sandisk's Compact Flash is Better than Iomega & Microdrive.

Ausdauer, the !&#$@drive article Walter posted also failed to mention that you can buy an IBM 5-1/4" hard drive for less than the cost of a 64MB CF card. A 10GB MP3 player would hang around your neck like a boat anchor and battery life would be measured in seconds but ... it would store one heck of a lot of music. I'm surprised that the article's author, Cameron Crouch, missed that angle.

It must be nice getting paid by PC World and IBM at the same time.

PS If we stop mentioning %$^#!drive errata here, who would be left to point out their mistakes?
