I bought CD at 16.25 sold at 18 during the recent shakeout and only to buy it again at 17.75 last week, in fear that maybe JD might be right and that the value stocks might take off. I should have sold at 26 back in Jan, but JD thought it would hit 40. And we all want to squeeze every last cent out of our stocks. It is usually that last penny that costs us the most. I got greedy with many of my tech stocks. Dumped almost everything 2 weeks ago, for some decent profit, but far from the highs.
Any thoughts on HLT? I had bought it at 10.25 several months back, but also sold it recently. I don't know what to think about it, so many of JD's value stocks just keep going down! He sure has some out of favour stocks on his list, JC Penny, Rite Aid. Anyone have any experience with respect to his success in picking out the turn around companies. Best of luck.
