Linden,
<<This is not a zero sum game. DSL, cable and satellite will all grab a nice chunk of the broadband market. Don't bet (long term) against this technology>>
I want to make clear that if I short DISH PGTV it is very very small and very short term. Those who want to short should rely on their own evaluation. And I want to do more DD before discuss with you or others in details. But I think the rate of increasing broadband connection is limited due to the cost, and many who want it already have it. I still feel comfortable with my regular phone-line modem. Not a zero sum game but a zero growth rate sum game, I guess.
Same as B2B hype, at the beginning the analysts said the revenues is in the range of trillions, and suddenly many discover that B2B companies can take only a small portion as software providers or things. Same as here, 600 millions in revenue but they did not say how much profit (or really loss) can these sattelite services earn!!!
Best Regards,
