Frank, <..the need to constantly bash and make fun of the opposition.>
<And please don't tell me that Intelabees have done the same thing in the past>

Why not? You have no idea what we have been through.
You can go 2-3 years back and read on, if you wish.
But you apparently don't.

We are honest people over here:) Some time ago,
when AMD was at $12-14-17, I made a promise to some
"supremely and arrogantly confident" Intel bulls
to pay back, with all accrued interest.
I _have_ to keep my words.
This time seems to be coming...

Frank,

It really sucks being on the receiving end, doesn't it?

Oh well. I can honestly say that I don't think I've been arrogant and/or smug. And looking around I don't see too many others either. I see people who are excited because the stock is doign so well, and one of the big factors that could affect that (Intel) seems intent on shooting as many body parts as possible, whenever possible.

Regards,

Steve

f.simons re <<I have never seen such a large group of supremely and arrogantly confident people such as there are on this thread feeling the need to constantly bash and make fun of the opposition.>>

Never? Are you sure?

Paul and Yousef (along with few followers like Elmer) for a very long time used aggressive, rude and condescending comments to bash and ridicule any AMD investor. That's all they did, all day long. It did not matter how polite you were or how much you tried to explain your position, they continued. If you were invested in AMD, you were stupid. If you were invested in AMD, you were incapable of understanding common logic and could not pick trend if it hit you in the head.

I have never seen, and hope to never see again, the ugly and sorry display of the human character that those self proclaimed educated adults demonstrated on this thread. Of course now Paul and Yousef are too chicken shet to show their face.

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw what you wrote.

Mani

>> the Intel longs desperately are trying to figure out how the AMD scum got such a foothold.<<

frank,

How very disappointing....you took what was to be a comic reflection of a funny turn of events and made it bad. And you ignored that I mostly was lampooning the AMD longs. It would be truly funny if you weren't so defensive and angry and your comments degrading.

I think most of us Intel longs have it figured out that Intel has made some bad mistakes in the last year, and that AMD has taken advantage of them and their own good work to become a real competitor.

Only some of you Intel longs have figured out very recently that Intel may have screwed up; long, long after the horses have left the barn. And even now you still don't get the extent; to wit, Amy J's defensive response to T. Lafountain.

An observation, though: I have never seen such a large group of supremely and arrogantly confident people such as there are on this thread feeling the need to constantly bash and make fun of the opposition. Sorry guys, but mature, confident people don't have the need or desire to do this. Looks a lot like whistling through the graveyard.
And please don't tell me that Intelabees have done the same thing in the past. Assuming that to be true, it didn't look any better when they were doing it.

Confident yes, arrogant no...I suspect you don't know the diffence. Confident because they believed in a company that they were told repeatedly by Intel longs....surprise surprise.....was the toilet of the industrial west and should be put to death. A company that now is outperforming its much bigger rival.

One becomes confident when one sees correctly the possibilities in something to which others are blind.

And if you want to talk arrogance.....then read over the posts from Engel and E. Fuddster where they told AMD longs they were bashing them for their own good.......that they were denigrating us so that we would see the light. That is fact and not an assumption, and I can say that because I experienced it first hand. Their behavior was so arrogant, so abusive, so over the top, there were times I found it hard to believe that it was actually happening.

Engel, Fudd, and yousef disgust me because they are disturbed personalities who have very strange ways of getting off. How easy for you to blow off their past behavior.....after all they are your compadres and they can't be that bad.....since they always are well behaved on the Intel thread. If you plan to pass yourself off in the future as an intelligent, reasonable man, then you may want to do your homework. Clearly you haven't to date.

ted

It looks like you have already received enough replies to this post that express what I think, but I still have a question - what kind of posts do you consider to be arrogant?

Just curious.
