GlobalCenter Names Don Fulghum Chief Information Officer
GlobalCenter Adds CIO to Grow its Internal IT Systems

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2000--GlobalCenter Inc., a Global Crossing company and a leading Internet services business, today announced that Don Fulghum has joined the Company as chief information officer. Fulghum will be responsible for the Company's internal information systems, reporting to Laurie Priddy, GlobalCenter's co-COO.

Fulghum joins GlobalCenter with more than 25 years of experience in software development, large-scale data architectures, performance engineering, systems management, configuration management and systems integration.

Prior to joining GlobalCenter, Fulghum served as CIO for General Systems Research and Development, where he developed and architected the infrastructure design for an ASP solution including multiple data center locations throughout the country. Before moving to General Systems Research and Development, Fulghum was a partner with Computer Sciences Corp. Center for Systems Architecture CSC Consulting. There he was responsible for designing large-scale commerce systems and enterprise system management architectures; for designing large scale data architectures and, for developing and presenting technical and business solutions to clients throughout the world.
