Kenneth, You comments are weighted in a heavy bias tone. LU is working internally on the long haul product instead of spending billions on the second rated, fat, dumb pipe approach of Qtera (Corvis likely to be the real winner in that space, SCMR and Ciena right there as well). Bay was a failing company, bleeding people and technology, while ASND was certainly not. ASND's products are on pace to do 4 billion plus this year for LU. That has turned out to be an excellent deal. With sales of 44 billion this year, it would seem far fetched that LU is failing.

Nortel will never catch CSCO in the enterprise space. LU is smart enough to realize this and is dumping it to fend for itself. Even TG has noted the minimal growth in enterprise equipment sales for NT. Since the entire market for 192 equipment is just starting to grow, LU only handicapped itself for 2 quarters. Going forward, the playing field is equal.
