The "report" also omitted the fact that TERN doesn't just make cable modems. This is from EDGAR filings on-line at:

freeedgar.com
y=1052303&Year=00&SECIndex=2&Extension=.tst&PathFlag=0&nStartLoc=686&nEn
dLoc=316270&TextFileSize=316271&FormType=10-K&DateFiled=3/31/2000&SFType
=&SDFiled=&tabletype=1&tablename=Body&SourcePage=FilingsResults&OEMSourc
e=&UseFrame=0&CompanyName=TERAYON+COMMUNICATION+SYSTEMS

In addition to cable operators, we market our DSL products to leading
providers of telephony services throughout the world. The pending
acquisition of ANE provides Terayon with a strong customer presence in
the U.S. communications market. ANE's customers include all of the
major U.S. ILECs (Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers), including SBC,
Bell Atlantic, Bell South, U.S. West and GTE. The growth of the
Internet has increased the demands on these and other carriers to
provide incremental bandwidth to support a host of voice and data
services. We believe our DSL line of products is positioned to
participate in the growing broadband DSL market.

The report
(http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=13461957) is
skewed entirely to promote one side - that of the "shorts".

I'll be sending a copy of this to the SEC on-line at:

sec.gov

I suggest some of the rest of you use this form also.

DAN B

I think I remember you from the RMBS thread some time back. You seemed to know your stuff in terms of dissecting technology and offering insight as to its potential going forward. Some time back CMTO had problems with DOCSIS and I lost interest and moved on to other things. Does TERN have something similar going on with them? I'll have to admit, I've only taken a cursory look at this so far. But I would be interested in your take more so than others.

Never mind.

I got what I needed off the Coluccio thread.
