Jim Willie-

Here's a view that makes plenty of sense to me.

MSFT conference call...talk the stock down...cause a major market slide...blame the falling revenues on government meddling...public uproar...government backs off!
Heck, why not just change the name of the operating system to Elian....the Florida Cuban exiles will back Reno down...<g>

Think like a corporation...<g>"

JW...IMO, a lot of what's going on with MSFT is spin. You've got to appreciate the level of chess they're now playing with DOJ.

While the momo's are going to play the earnings for what its worth -- down, near term, I think the underlying games that are now being played will go on for quite some time, and prove to be one hell of a roller coaster.

JW, If you get the time, could you do some TA on CREE? They appear to be breaking out, now.

They broke the upper trend channel line.

I see a little resistance to break the 100 day MA at 120.
After that, there is a little resistance at 130's, but then nothing until it hits 150s.

If the Naz doesn't sink it on Monday, I think they have a great chance of soaring again. Perhaps the first of the Gorilla Candidates to soar.

Link to the chart I'm looking at.
