don't blame investment banks for retail investors buying pos's at absurd prices. mutual funds bought them too, and funds are the major buyers of IPO's and secondaries. there is however, a big problem with sellside analysts violating any ethical guideline that is part of their cfa diploma. AIMR has been slow to do anythign about it. Voice your complaints at aimr.org
Tell them to make me president of AIMR and I promise you that analysts found violating the ethical portion of their charter will be on the next boat to CUBA.

Any of the ratty e-tailers or information sites that are still worth shorting. Don't wanna short a $3 stock cause, even though it can go down, I would think that the formidable short positions in most of these stocks will act as a a cushion (as they cover)
