Many thanks for your number of $293 for the listed holdings. The unlisted holdings? Let's say the same amount. That gives us $584 as the underlying value. Take away bond debt and taxes we have probably around $540, just where it's selling. Of course the unlisted stuff may be worth more than the listed companies. Anyway the market place may value Softbank at under its net asset value or, in excited periods, around three times its net asset value, i.e. 1620 which is curiously close to its maximum 2 months ago. Naturally when the 300 or so companies are all listed and most of them profitable the net asset value will be much higher.
