The chart differences probably reflect the
differential movements of the large,
liquid big caps and shifts in and out
of the techs. IMHO the market is removing
the bloom off high-flying techs and even
some of the big caps are suffering as
a result(e.g. CSCO,MSFT,IBM,INTC et al.)
Any rallies should prove temporary,
exhibiting additional topping distributions,
as the emerging economic data continues
to challenge the "New Economy" thesis.

In any event, I will be very,very selective
with any equity-adds, believing the selloff
may carry through Jan.lows (at a minimum)
for the large caps into mid-June.
