ted:

Thanks for the post...Hope Goldtwerp (#107105) didn't read it...Too much cheerleading, even when supported by action and/or fact, is apparently too tough for him to keep his cakehole shut!

>>Whoa....quite a find.....wait til AMD does an announcement on Monday.<<

Does this announcement mean that if you don't have your Athlon order in by now, you won't be able to buy any in Q2? What does "sold out for the 2nd quarter" mean?

Ted, the Athlon can't be sold out, it just can't. Elmer told us so. He told us AMD is making more Athlon than it can possibly sell.

$1.50 in EPS is in the bag for the current quarter, time to worry about Q3!

Re:"A spokesman for Sunnyvale, Calif.-based AMD (AMD: Research, Estimates)said that the company's high-end Athlon processors and its value-priced K6-2 chips are sold out for the second quarter, which ends in June."

Does this mean no chips for little Mickey? Or is Dell's 100k chip order part of the reason for the sold out condition?
That would assume T-bird And Spitfires are lumped under the Athlon brand name.

Now why didn't it come on Thursday so that I can make a little bit more money on my April Calls?
