I sense sarcasm in your statement - which is good. Here's one for the brainiacs on cnbc. Let's say a stock belongs to the NAZ 100 AND the Russell 2000. If the NAZ is down 20% from its high but the R2000 isn't, then what do you call it? The point of all this crap about definitions is that the best investors IGNORE whether some talking head on tv says we are in a bull or bear mkt. The best investors buy good stuff when that stuff is inexpensive compared to where it will be selling for in the future.
