Right. But I am not sure if the 2.60 estimate is for the whole fiscal year; I hope not. This quarter SYMC earns 0.63. If 2100 earning is 2.60 that would mean 2.60/4 == .65 per quarter which means very slow growth.

I still cannot believe SYMC beats street estimate by a whopping .10 and got hammered by 12% because of a single analyst. All other analysts still remain "strong buy" on SYMC! I would not be surprised if this is a game analysts play to buy at a good price. Weak-hands who sell now will surely feel sorry very soon...
