The defensive team is on the field:

Abby's signal for everyone to buy the "old economy" stocks was a sign for people to get defensive.

Hi Jim, welcome back.

Thanks for the link. Couple of questions.
1) Have you already filed and application with him?
2) If not, how long do you think it would take to get in after a bottom is put in? In other words, would it be advisable to go ahead and get money in place with him?
3) How do you go about getting the info as the what % cash he is holding?

Now I agree that the bottom is not in. I have been doing very well shorting some of these big ones. Look at what the crooks did on LU when they gapped it up to 74 and change on NO NEWS so they could sell out the shares they got caught with when LU warned. I shorted it the next day and rode it all the way to 51. Then shorted it again Wednesday at 63 1/2. <G> Shorted AMAT, AMD the whole screaming bunch and AIN'T through yet. VBG I did go flat yesterday and expected to reenter Monday but after MSFT earnings I am gonna wish I had stayed short. I am long some MSFT in high 70's but learned what you taught me well and have some nice CC's sold on the shares.

Monty

PS Anyone doubt what I say I will send Jim the brokerage sheets. <G>
