Sounds like Dresden's june shipments are also sold. Looks like Elmer will have to shut up about all that inventory. Can we say > $2 eps. 2q-00.

It makes me wonder how much upside there really is for AMD, given the capacity constraints. AMD did not confirm this, but I think in Q1, AMD was running close to capacity. So the improvement we can expect are:
* slightly improved ASP due to the shortages
* improved ASP due to better product mix (K6-2 -> K6-2+, Spitfire)
* slightly higher # of die / wafer of .18u K6-2+ vs. .25u K6-2
* Dresden production

Can anyone quantify these?

On the other hand, Intel has a potential to to increase their production significantly due to the .25u -> .18u conversion, once the problems are worked out.

Is it possible to speed up adding of new capacity in Dresden fab?

Joe

Even with Dresden depreciation, AMD will likely reach $7-$9/share this year. If (when) ASPs are in excess of $100, $10 is even possible. We need a split.
