I wouldn't give ten cents for Juan's chances of living, after Elian is turned over to Castro's henchmen in Maryland.

Castro is holding Juan's entire family, back in Cuba, as hostages against Juan getting out of line in the U.S. Juan is not permitted, at this time, to go anyplace in the U.S. He certainly is prohibited from going to Miami, where he would love to go.

After Castro gets his paws on another child, Elian, Castro is not going to want to take the chance on Elian's family fleeing to Miami.

Hence, turning Elian over to the Cuban mafia in Maryland, is signing Elian's Cuban family's death warrant.

There is a lot at stake!
